Established in 2016, The Farmhouse offers luxury farm stays from stunning holiday cottages, in the incredible surroundings of a beautifully maintained 100 acre country estate and working farm at the heart of the wonderful North York Moors National Park.

Our cottages are central to what we do at The Farmhouse offering a special place with a warm welcome, good food, and with a love of the land at it’s heart.

The Farmhouse was built in 1880 on the site of an historic dwelling. We have spent the last 35 years creating a beautiful country home set within lovely gardens, offering luxurious accommodation, unrivalled views of - and access to - the surrounding valleys and open moors, and peace and escape from busy everyday life.

The farm, which covers the land between Goathland village and the hamlet of Beckhole is enclosed by ancient oak woodland and pastures of special scientific interest, and set within the amphitheater of the glorious North York Moors National Park.

We have restored the farmland to the 1850 field pattern, woods and hedges have been planted, ponds created and paths constructed. The farm is home to the 'Yorkshire Dexter’ herd of pedigree cattle and to a growing flock of Coloured Ryeland sheep.

When we’re not at Goathland, you can find us in the Swiss Alps. Our chalet, which is located in the beautiful Val d’Anniviers, is available to our guests for minimum two week stays for very special skiing and walking holidays. www.chaletcharr.co.uk

We look forward to your stay.
